I painted this work as a meeting point between quietness and intensity. Against a spacious turquoise field, a warm orange cat gathers the eye with its steady, almost mysterious presence. Purple, coral, and deep midnight tones move around the figure like fragments of memory or distant evening light. I wanted the painting to feel both graphic and intimate: a bold statement from across the room, yet full of layered brushwork and small discoveries when viewed up close. The cat became a symbol of self-possession, patience, and the calm strength of simply being present. Framed and ready to bring a vivid, contemporary energy into a home, this is an original one-of-a-kind painting created by my hand.
